A parent and a teacher were discussing some changes in the school schedule. Section 2. A student and his teacher were discussing different methods of doing a research. Section 3. Don’t remember. Section 4. About urban living. Reading test Passage 1. A discussion about different restaurants and their facilities. Passage 2. A person was applying for a job online. Passage 3. Requirements for people working in a foreign country. Passage 4. A story about the sheep that can recognise faces. Writing test Writing task 1 (a letter) You have stayed at a friend’s house last weekend and forgot your watch there. Write a letter to him/her and say - Thank him/her for the weekend stay. - Describe your watch and where you could have left it. - Suggest a way how to get it back. Writing Task 2 (an essay) Children today are too dependent on computers and electronic entertainment. It would be better to encourage them to spend more time outside playing sports and games. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Give your opinion. Speaking test Interview - What is your full name? - Can I see your ID? - Where are you from? - Do you work or study? - Describe your job. - What is your favourite food? - When do you usually eat it? - Do you know how to cook? Cue Card 1 Talk about a language that you would like to learn. Please say - What language is it? - Why do you like it? - What should you do to learn it? Discussion 1 - What is the best way to relax? - Why can some people easily learn a different language and others can’t? - Is it important to learn foreign language in a formal classroom? Cue Card 2 Talk about something or someone you’ve been waiting for. Please say: - Who or what were you waiting for? - Why were you waiting? - What happened in the end? Discussion 2 - Give an example of waiting for something that you purchased (such as a TV, a house or a car). - Do you think the waiting time for electronics should be decreased? - Do you like waiting for something?
