Our friend V shared this update after a recent IELTS exam in New Zealand:

Listening test
  • Section 1. A mother was talking to a school principal about her son who is new in this school.
  • Section 2. An adviser was taking to students about their presentation.
  • Section 3. Don’t remember.
  • Section 4. A person was giving information about campus and its facilities for new students.
Reading test
  • Passage 1. About banana and its health benefits.
  • Passage 2, 3. Don’t remember.
Writing test
Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a diagram showing the process a person has to go through to get a driving licence. We had to describe the process.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Economic progress is one factor that is being considered to measure the success of a country, but there are other factors that should be considered when measuring the success of a country. Do you agree or disagree? What other factors do you think should be considered? Do you think one factor is more important than others?
