Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a table showing population of three different cities in 1990 and the predicted population for 2000.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Some say that international news should be taught as a subject in secondary school, others say that it is a waste of valuable time. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
